Review + Photos: You Me at Six @ The Opera House

Tuesday night’s headliners, You Me at Six hailing from across pond created a buzz in the venue long before taking the stage for their set.  A few observant fans caught glimpses of the band members through a side door, making sure their presence was known.

Each set seemed to set up and begin well on time with the English quintet taking the stage around 9:00PM. Lead singer, Josh Franceschi, continuously gave shout-outs to the only Canadian date. With Josh making it known the band’s last Toronto date was over a year ago likewise the fans made it known they were clearly missed.

Throughout the night, there was no shortage of fans singing along to each track ranging from their earlier releases to new tracks off their anticipated album, Cavalier Youth (set to release early 2014); the band made sure to give an energetic performance just as the fans jumped, moshed and crowd-surfed all night long. Overall, You Me at Six put on a solid set that capped off the night’s performances.
